You are warmly invited to a movie night! "Tangerines" is an emotionally powerful Estonian-Georgian co-production that explores the absurdity of war and the humanity that can survive within it. The story takes us to Abkhazia in 1992, where an old man, Ivo, and his neighbor Margus remain in a conflict zone so Margus can harvest his tangerines. Unexpectedly, they find themselves caught between two wounded soldiers from opposing sides, whose lives they save and whom they offer shelter. At the heart of the film lies a poignant question: can a person remain human when everything around them falls apart?

Come and see "Tangerines" – a touching, timelessly relevant story of compassion, reconciliation, and hope in the most difficult of circumstances. It’s a film that leaves no one untouched.

The film will be shown in Estonian, followed by a short discussion. English subtitles will be provided.
