Estonian Refugee Council is collecting donations through February and March to help people of Ukraine

The Estonian Refugee Council launched today a fundraising campaign 'Three Years Too Many,' which will run throughout February and March to raise donations for providing essential assistance to vulnerable people in frontline areas.

“On 24 February, three years will have passed since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. These have been three years of suffering, destruction, and loss. The war affects the most vulnerable people the hardest—single parents, large families, people with disabilities, and the elderly,” said Eero Janson, Director of the Estonian Refugee Council.

As part of the campaign, the Estonian Refugee Council will support vulnerable people in Ukraine who are struggling to meet their basic needs due to the war. Donations will be distributed as multi-purpose cash assistance, enabling people to purchase food, medicine, hygiene products, and address other most pressing needs.

Donor support is more Important than ever

In January, the United States froze foreign aid for 90 days, significantly affecting our capacity to deliver aid in Ukraine. The Estonian Refugee Council is one of the largest humanitarian cash assistance providers in frontline and hard-to-reach areas.

We continue to distribute cash assistance to people in Ukraine in areas with critical needs. However, the suspension of US funding has forced many humanitarian organisations, including the Estonian Refugee Council, to scale down their operations. This has a severe impact on crisis-affected people who rely on and urgently need humanitarian assistance.

Donations can be made through the Estonian Refugee Council’s website or via donation phone lines:

  • 900 38 02 – €10
  • 900 38 03 – €50

Donate today to help us continue delivering critical aid to those who need it most!

The Estonian Refugee Council has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, providing humanitarian assistance to people affected by the war and supporting them in rebuilding their lives.
